The Valdosta Victorian

1906 Victorian 3 br & 2.5 ba Home Close to Downtown

You will step back in time in our 1906 Queen Anne home

Welcome to THE VALDOSTA VICTORIAN! Here you will find antiques in every room.  Here you will have a wrap around front porch.  Here you will have an outdoor hot tub waiting for you. This stunning Victorian Home is close to all the restaurants and close to downtown.  Also this place is only 6 miles away from Wild Adventures Theme Park.

You will love our two story home. Come on inside!  LCD Flatscreen TVs and a dvd player in the family room parlor.  Relax in the brick courtyard!   Take a picture with Rhett Butler and Scarlett Ohara in our living room parlor with our “Gone With The Wind” decoration.  On this first floor you will be able to hang out in a gorgeous living space that includes a modern kitchen and plenty of places to socialize.  Also on this main floor you will find a really cool CLAW TUB.

Go upstairs using the grand staircase and lounge in the 2nd story landing sitting room with it’s year round Christmas tree.  On this floor you will have a new shower and plenty of places to sleep.  3 bedrooms in all in this home that sleeps up to 8 guests. Go to the third floor and take in the nostalgic coke decoration.  Enjoy the  record player that plays albums, cassettes, and cd's.  The kids will love this room.  There is a TV up here and a half bath plus a couple of small cots and sleeping bags.  What a time they will have camping out. The Valdosta Victorian has a washer and dryer for your convenience.

We purchased this house back in 2005 because we fell in love with it the moment we saw a for sale sign in the yard.  We travel from Indiana to Florida and this is a great stopping point for us.

See you soon, Jimmy and Ellen Hunter

The Valdosta Victorian Guest Reviews

"Absolutely loved staying here for the weekend. The house is beautiful and I can’t wait to stay again sometime!"

"Overall we enjoyed the stay and had a great family New Year’s gathering. Since our son is stationed in Moody AFB it was perfect. As mentioned in the house details it was like traveling back in time to the 1900’s. We took lots of pictures, toured our friends who visited, and learned the history of the house; very interesting. The house is big with plenty of space to gather, relax, and have privacy. We travel with pets and the fenced backyard was a plus. The neighborhood is quiet and at walking distance from downtown Valdosta. The mall, grocery stores, hotels and many more places to eat or visit were a couple of miles away which was very convenient. The beds were cleaned and comfortable"

"Cute and cozy home. Very private and secluded. Close to downtown."

"We booked this house to sleep five while visiting Wild Adventures theme park, but sadly were rained out of most of our day there. So we stayed at the house and ultimately had as good a time as we would have had anywhere. The kids enjoyed exploring the three levels and playing hide and seek. We grilled out, played cards, sat on the porch, retired to the library after dinner. This house is breath tankingly beautiful and a perfect blend between old and new. It's like staying in 1906 but with wifi and (well hidden) flat screen tvs. I would highly recommend this property to anyone even as a destination all by itself."
